About the role
In this role you will support the Safety and Wellbeing Manager and partner with managers and staff across all areas of Wintec. You will use your influence and coaching abilities to achieve the organisational goals through managers and staff to affect safety and wellbeing change. You will work alongside a high performing collaborative team, who works closely together providing supportive guidance and experience to continuously grow each other.
You will hit the ground running as you must be able to churn through the day to day operational needs and provide sound leadership advice on Safety and Wellbeing management. You will identify risks and manage investigations, promote safety and wellbeing practices across Wintec while coaching and mentoring others. It’s essential that you have experience in building strong relationships and have superior communication skills working with a diverse group of people. If safety and wellbeing is a passion for you and you have a generalist understanding of Health and Safety and its impact on an organisation both legislatively and practically. Your ability to influence leaders to create a proactive safety and wellbeing culture to get the best out of their teams, through coaching and development, to achieve our strategic goals will be your true measure of success.
You will be motivated in bringing out the best in people and have the tenacity to work through the challenges that come with taking people on this journey. Your ability to stay calm in a crisis is critical whilst using your highly developed communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships and commitment to safety and wellbeing, this could be your next exciting move.
