About the role

The primary function of this role is to deliver post-graduate and undergraduate nursing content to students using culturally responsive teaching practices.  Experience in education and currency of clinical reasoning and knowledge is essential for this position.

This is a full-time permanent position.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

  • A doctoral or master qualification (or current doctoral candidate) relevant to nursing or education, with a strong clinical, education background
  • Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and hold a current Annual Practising Certificate (or be eligible to apply for both).


Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and a minimum of 3 years recent post-registration nursing clinical practice in acute and complex care.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo relevant pre-employment checks.
