About the role

Working in the fast paced International Centre, you’ll be responsible for recruiting high quality homestay Hosts, verifying host applicants information and conducting regular homestay host residential visits as well as organising training and networking events.

You’ll help to grow and care for the needs of our community of international students and homestay hosts by being responsible for the visit and phone call cycle being completed and compliant with government legislation.

You will work closely with a number of departments across the organisation from marketing to enrolment as well as the wider international team and you will regularly be dealing with homestay hosts, international students and other members of the wider community on a daily basis which means this isn’t your typical desk job.

Are you an ideal candidate?

Are you enthusiastic and self-motivated who is happy to spilt their time between the office and being out and about?

This could be the role for you. You’ll need to manage your time well both in and out of the office, have excellent people skills and be able to think on your feet. An interest in other cultures and the ability to work within a tight team are crucial.

Ideally, you’ll also need a relevant tertiary qualification and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in administration or customer service role. A full driver’s license will also be required.
