Expressions of Interest - English Teachers, Guizhou, China


We are seeking expressions of interest for exceptional English Language teachers interested in teaching for Wintec in Guizhou, China. Positions will be fixed term for one academic year, starting around September 2018, teaching in the classroom up to 24 hours per week.

2018 will be the first year of the Guizhou Light Industry and Wintec International College and as such is in the set-up phase.

We are looking for a range of experience from junior, intermediate to experienced English language teachers. We need people that are resilient, adaptable, proactive team players able to develop good working relationships with other teachers, administration and management staff.

The positions are to teach Chinese students English language, to prepare them for Diploma study which will be partially delivered in English.

To be successful in these role’s you will:

Junior Teacher

- Have a Degree in English/Linguistics/Literature and CELTA certificate

- Have Experience teaching General English, ESP

- Ideally 2 to 3 years’ experience

Intermediate Teacher

- Have taught English to students with limited English Language levels

- Have a Degree in English/Linguistics/Literature and CELTA certificate

- Have Experience teaching General English, ESP internationally

- Ideally 5 to 6 years’ experience

Senior Teacher

- Have taught English to students with limited English Language levels

- Have a Degree in English/Linguistics/Literature and post grad studies in TESOL or CELTA

- Have Experience teaching General English, ESP

- Ideally 8 plus years’ experience

-Ideally you will speak some Mandarin and have worked in China teaching younger and adult learners but this is not a must
