About the role
Be involved in the hands-on tutoring of budding architectural technologists. You will guide them through real world projects, in a modern and innovative environment. Helping them to gain a solid understanding of how buildings go together and to become sought after work ready graduates.
You can choose to immerse yourself in this role full time or create some life balance by devoting just part time to the next generation of construction professionals. You will join a national network of dedicated academics andindustry advisors focused on creating a robust and relevant curriculum. Are you an ideal candidate?
With your passion for construction and your great communication skills, tutoring at Wintec could be your next best step. Ideally, you will have at least five years’ NZ industry experience in producing construction documentation for residential or commercial buildings on top of your formal qualifications. Our students need tutors who thrive on accuracy, technicalability, sound fundamentals of drawing and construction. Passing on your knowledge will help keep architectural technology training in the Waikato at avery high standard. You should have experience in AutoCad and/or Revit.
