About the role
We're looking for a communications advisor with proven writing ability, top-notch people skills and great initiative to join our team.
You'll be a self-starter and a creative thinker who can hit the ground running and you'll relish the challenge of working on multiple projects. You need to have excellent time management and organisational skills, be great at problem solving, writing polished content, and be able to meet deadlines.
Your experience with social media strategy and ability to create dynamic online content across a range of channels will ensure Wintec grows engagement with useful content our audience wants to hear about.
Our communications team is responsible for supporting Wintec's strategic goals and values through effective reputation management. Internal and external communications, media relations and events are all aspects covered in this role.
Reporting to the Communications Manager, you'll interact with a diverse range of staff and stakeholders. Therefore, well-honed relationship skills are essential.
The successful applicant will have:
A well-developed understanding and experience of online communications and social media platforms
Excellent writing and editing skills to produce stories, media releases and newsletters
Initiative and attention to detail
Sound administration skills to provide support to the communications team
The ability to think beyond the obvious and look for innovative and creative solutions
Previous experience working in a communications role
